Yahoo! Sports - Tennis News Rafael Nadal’s rout of Roger Federer in the French Open final drew the lowest TV rating of the duo’s three consecutive title matches in Paris. NBC’s telecast of Nadal’s 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 victory Sunday drew an overnight rating of 1.8, the network said Monday. It was the most lopsided Grand Slam men’s final in 24 years and lasted less than two hours.

Yahoo! Sports - Tennis News Sixth-seeded Potito Starace defeated Dawid Olejniczak 6-2, 6-3 Monday to advance to the second round of the Warsaw Open. In another opening-round match in the clay-court tournament, Florent Serra defeated Guillermo Coria when the Argentine withdrew with an injured left wrist after losing the first set 6-3.

Yahoo! Sports - Tennis News Horst Skoff, a former Austrian tennis player who won four ATP Tour titles, died during a business trip to Germany. He was 39. Austria’s tennis federation said Skoff died Saturday of a heart attack. Skoff’s friend, Arno Puckhofer, said federal police had ordered an autopsy to verify the cause of death.
